Their songs remain unheard.

When I wake from this dream,
There is a chance
that I may encounter
these unheard melodies.
They can't ever be heard,

But they pull on the deepest strings of my heart, and,
There, they play a tender and soft tune.

This tune might just
wake me from that dreary dream someday.
